Vroeger stond Wilsum bekend om onder andere de geitenmarkt. Bijna iedere bewoner had wel
één
of meerdere geiten. Ook de bewoners van ons oude huisje hadden geiten.
In the past, Wilsum was known, among other things, for its goat market. Almost every
resident had one or more goats, and the former occupants of our old house did too.
Van geitenschuur naar gastenverblijf
Op de plek waar de geitjes liepen is nu de B&B gebouwd, waar je kunt bijkomen en
genieten. De oude schuur met rieten kap is volledig verbouwd en ingericht als
gastenverblijf, met zichtbare
houten balken en veel licht.

The B&B now stands where the goats once walked: a former thatched barn completely
converted into a guest space with exposed beams and plenty of light – a place to rest
and enjoy.

Wilsum is een pittoresk stadje van meer dan 700 jaar oud dat ligt aan de prachtige IJssel. Je kunt hier vele wandel- en fietstochten maken. De Hanzesteden Kampen, Zwolle, Elburg, Hasselt en Hattem zijn dichtbij en maken je culturele hart blij. Wilsum is a picturesque little town over 700 years old, situated on the beautiful river IJssel. There are many walking and cycling routes, and the historic Hansa cities Kampen, Zwolle, Elburg, Hasselt and Hattem are close by.

U wordt door ons, Ron en Machteld den Besten, in de watten gelegd. Wij zijn een thuiswerkend echtpaar dat u graag laat genieten van de B&B en de prachtige omgeving.
You will be warmly welcomed by us, Ron and Machteld den Besten. We are a couple working from home who would love for you to enjoy the B&B and the beautiful surroundings.
Is het verblijf inclusief ontbijt? Is the stay including breakfast?
Voor het ontbijt bieden we u drie mogelijkheden aan:
1: Een vers klaargemaakt ontbijt, op de kamer geserveerd.
2: Een gevulde koelkast, zodat u zelf uw ontbijt kunt klaarmaken.
De kosten hiervoor zijn €12,50 p.p.p.n.
3: U zorgt zelf voor een ontbijt.

2: A stocked fridge, so you can prepare your own breakfast.

Nee, er is geen barbecue. In de binnenstad van Kampen vindt u een uitstekend grillrestaurant dat uw BBQ-skills absoluut overtreft.
